Teachers took on a pink hacking menace named Rouge Wraith and used their newfound technology knowhow to stop her in her tracks.
Welcome to “Mission Possible: Technology Integration Academy 2025,” where a group of about 20 elementary, middle and high school teachers spent four intense (but fun!) days learning new technology tricks and tools to improve their teaching practices and better engage their students.
As part of the training, the teacher-students assumed spy personas and used their upgraded skills to thwart the fictional hacker who was disrupting the balance of the digital word.
Led by district technology coaches Rebecca Bustelos, Kristen Buyce, Marlena Klein, Terrance McNally and Theresa Story, the session is one of three summertime tech-oriented professional development opportunities for teachers.
