Our unified basketball team took the court on Tuesday, April 29 to face off against the Guilderland Dutchmen. Our Falcons wowed our fans with a thrilling game, winning 39-31!
On the court, all of our student-athletes showed great enthusiam and focus, with Murana Musa, Miguel Munoz and Isaac Vazquez Garcia standing out as high-scorers for the evening!
We are proud of all our Falcons for their strong performance, as well as their incredible sportsmanship and positive attitudes.
The unified basketball team is coed and made up of students from grades 9-12. Unified sports are Special Olympics programs that combine athletes with and without disabilities on sports teams for training and competition.
This season, we have 20 student-athletes on the team who are invested, play hard and are all champions!
